Keren Ann - L'onde Amère
Keren Ann - Nolita
taken from her CD Nolita

For the Francophiles, sort of - Already a sensation in France for a few years, I was recently turned on to this multi-cultural, Parisian based singer/songwriter bridging the gap between the past and present. Singing equally well in English and French, she sounds a bit like Mazzy Star at times, other times like somber indie pop and French Chanson. Great on a cold winter day which the City of Angels has yet to produce for a couple weeks now.
