what i'm listening to now

Continuing on the so-called "New Weird America" folk revival tip, Arthur mag has repressed their limited Devendra Banhart compiled cd. I've already put my order in but go here to stream the entire cd. Its quite good and sounds very appropriate for the fall season.

The album includes tracks by Vetiver (with Hope Sandoval), Joanna Newsom, Six Organs of Admittance, Viking Moses, Josephine Foster, ESPers, Vashti Bunyan & Devendra Banhart, Jana Hunter, Currituck Co., White Magic, Iron and Wine, Diane Cluck, Matt Valentine, Entrance, Jack Rose, Little Wings, Scout Niblett, Troll, CocoRosie and Antony.
